The Lake District Our favourite corner of England, with undoubtedly the best combination of scenery there is within the UK. Shaped by glaciers during the last Ice Age, at it's heart are the lakes and mountains and lush green farmland that make it so distinctive. Beautiful
little towns nestle in-between, and have played their part in the development of
the countryside, and of British and world tourism since the Industrial
Revolution. One Day Tour £35 pp (2-6 people) An ideal introduction to the area. You could spend a lifetime exploring the many attractions of this region, but it's compact and accessible nature mean you can drive around the highlights within one day - surely a temptation to come back again! 3-Day Tour £250pp (min 2) Take a few days to explore the region in greater depth, or just get more of whatever side of it you love - scenery, souvenirs, history, walking, art etc. Indulge your curiosity and find out more about the English Lakes. Includes two nights Bed & Breakfast accommodation, plus tour guide and transport for three full days. Can be shortened or extended - please ask. Snacks and bottled water are included on all our tours. We will provide sandwiches for lunch, or show you where the tea shops and cafes are! A private vehicle and expert guide means that we are flexible enough to suit every taste. Want to see more of the lakes and spectacular mountain passes? No problem. More time for wandering around the shops in a picturesque village? Fine. It's entirely up to you. |

advice as you need, and you will not be disappointed if you just sit back and
let your guide show you our favourite places. There are some you shouldn't miss,
but we will get you off the main roads and show you a few hidden gems as well.
